Glogster and Word Cloud

Hello everyone!! You guys are able to see my glog  if you click on the link "my glog" in this sentence!
It was pretty fun using Glogster. It was very simple since it has some glogs that are already made so that all you have to do is add the pictures. I decided to post pictures of my hobby.
This would be a great tool for ages 10 and above. They are able to handle using a computer for a longer period of time and manage the site more effectively. Students are to be able to upload pictures from a computer or device such as a USB or a camera. I think that Word and Paint are easier to create poster than glogster because you don't have to create an account to use the applications.

Here are some of the creations I made on Word Cloud using my twitter account:

It was easy to use Word Cloud. All I did was type in my twitter ID in the correct space provided and the words came up. I played around with the shapes and themes. The ones above were my favorite.
Word Cloud is appropriate for for ages 15 and above because they may have access to a twitter account or know what website they would like to use. It is super easy to use and you don't have to create an account to use it.

  1. You really did like these and you created a lot with them. If you do want younger students to use this you could create a twitter account and post some appropriate tweets. Then they could use that account to get those words for their project.

  2. You are so right Professor Harris. It would then change to 3rd grade and above for appropriateness because all they need is to be able to copy the twitter ID and be able to manage basic computer skills.
